Hemant Kumar

Commander Hemant Kumar is an Indian Navy Veteran with 21+ years of Naval Service behind him. He completed his MBA in Logistics management from Goa University in 2005 & served as a Supply Chain Specialist in various capacities for the Indian Navy. Post Voluntary Retirement, Hemant worked with Chennayinfc (an Indian Super League franchisee) as President (Operations) and as General Manager (Logistics Operations) with Kent Ro Systems Ltd. His last designation with the Indian Navy was as Joint Director (Ministry of Defence). He is a qualified ‘Group Training Officer’ from Defence Institute for Psychological Research, New Delhi (has trained Officers & Cadets of the Indian Armed Forces); A ‘Mentor/Facilitator’ Hemant is internationally certified by SQA (Scottish Qualification Authorities) & accredited as ‘Train the Trainer’ by the National Accreditation Board for Education & Training (NABET), conducted by Image Consulting Business Institute. His other major certifications include ‘Personal Branding for Image Consultants’ by US based International Master Image Consultant Judith Rasband; Entrepreneurship Development Programme in Digital Marketing and Risk & Security Compliance by National Skill Development Council (NSDC)

He counsels/trains individuals and corporate clients in Image Branding & Behavioural Soft skills i.e Leadership Skills, Time & Stress Management, Empathy/Emotional Intelligence, Art / Science of First Impressions, Personal Branding/ Grooming, Customer Service, Goal Setting, Decision Making, Conflict Management, Negotiation Skills, Team Building/ Collaboration and Inter- personal communication through individual consultations, corporate workshops/ seminars. His favourite training game is the beach version of  Stretch to Win’ which he uses regularly in Outbound Training

He has been nominated for the Dr KCG Verghese Excellence award by the ‘Hindustan’ group of Institutions based at Chennai for implementing Grassroots development programmes in the state of Tamil Nadu in July 2017. He was adjudged ‘Best Student’ by Security Sector National Skill Development Council in Oct 2016. He led a 22 Day Naval Rafting Team expedition on the ‘Zanskar’ river in August 2015; Conquered treacherous terrain on the way to the Glacier & rafted back to Leh. A Padi certified Scuba Diver, He has represented the Indian Navy at the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon in 2014 & 2015. Hemant is an ‘Adventure enthusiast’ and loves Mountain Rides/ Camping outdoors.
